Symbolic Literacy
A public orientation to symbols, elements, and the work of reading sacred forms responsibly.
Symbolic literacy is the ability to read sacred forms without reducing them to decoration. The pentacle, the elements, seasonal cycles, devotional texts, and ritual language all teach through symbol.
The pentacle is described in the tradition as a sign of relationship with the Divine Source, the harmony of Spirit and the four elements, and the human journey toward balance and communion. The elements offer language for body, feeling, thought, action, and Spirit held together.
Public orientation can name these symbols and their broad meanings. The disciplined use of sacred forms, ritual procedures, and internal exercises remain protected because context and readiness matter.
